All Things Possible

All Things Possible Campaign

In order to meet current and future identified needs, the Diocese of Fort Worth has launched a $40 million campaign to benefit both parishes and the Diocese. Bishop Vann has asked every parish and mission to take part in this endeavor. Pledge Weekend is coming up (or has already taken place!) for 29 of our 90 parishes and missions in the Diocese of Fort Worth that are currently running the All Things Possible Campaign. Bishop Vann thanks all leadership and volunteers working so hard for the future of our Diocese.

Please join us in praying for those actively
involved in this effort!

Bishop Vann Asks Entire Diocese to Join National Catholic
Call for Action on Health Care Reform

Bishop Kevin Vann has joined fellow bishops of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) in asking on all members of the diocese to join the call to action regarding healthcare reform. The U.S. bishops support decent health care for all based on our teaching that healthcare is essential for human life and dignity, and the Church’s experience in providing health care and assisting those without coverage. Specifically, bishops have required that longstanding federal protections that restrict abortion funding and mandates that protect conscience rights must be reflected in healthcare reform legislation. In addition, bishops have focused on efforts to insure that coverage is affordable to families and that immigrants have better health care as a result of reform.

Simply, we seek reform that protects life and dignity, and provides healthcare for all.

Bishop Vann is asking each parish and ministry in the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth to join in this effort by praying and contacting elected representatives.
