Purpose
Children's Catechesis strives to insure that there is a means of religious formation for children from birth to an intermediate level in every parish of the Diocese of Fort Worth. Programs of religious formation assist parents who are the primary educators of their children in their faith life and development.
Enduring Mission Goals:
- Encourage parishes to help parents foster their child's faith life and development
- Assist DREs with the implementation of catechetical formation and sacramental preparation
- Support catechists and DREs / CREs in their ministry and professional development
- Provide curriculum recommendations
- Collaborate with parishes
- Serve as a resource
