Diocesan Training Opportunities

There are many opportunities available for you to engage your catechesis in on-going formation. This is a critical task we have as DRE's in order to insure that they are able to bring the Message to their children while also deepening their own understanding of their faith and teachings of the Church.

  1. Diocesan DRE Meetings / Enrichment Gatherings by area cluster deaneries / dates TBA in Newsletter
  2. Salt and Light Newsletter (Dec - Feb , 2011-2012)

  3. John Paul II School of Lay Ministry. This offers a more intense study and curriculum for Catechists who are able to make this time commitment and are seeking more advanced levels of formation. Please visit the Diocesan website and also the School of Lay Ministry for locations, cost, and registration
  4. My Catholic Faith Delivered – This is an on-line program that is partnering with our diocese to offer a different option of studies for Catechist Formation. It offers a wide range of courses on-line so that your catechists may complete these at their own pace. More information about this program could be found through our diocesan website and also directly at www.mycatholicfaithdelivered.com/ftworth. This program is currently only offered in English, but they are working on a Spanish translation.
  5. UDMC – Ministry Conference. This ministry conference offers two full days of formation every year!
