Vacation Bible School programs (VBS) are provided in many parishes of our diocese as a means to help children from pre-K thru grades 6 to deepen their faith and its rich tradition in a fun-filled setting that is usually one week long in the summer. Through activities, crafts, games, songs, and classroom time the programs offered are based on scripture, stories, lives of saints, church teachings, sacramentality, etc. At the heart of the VBS programs is to invite the participants to enhance their prayer life, relationship with God, Church, and each other by helping to build a solid and healthy Catholic identity and spirituality.
