2015 Faith-Based Symposium

Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Needs Council of Tarrant County

The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Needs Council of Tarrant County is hosting a symposium, "Celebrating Community: Shared Gifts–Shared Service–Shared Lives" on Friday, January 30th, from 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. at The Riley Center (1701 W. Boyce Ave.) in Fort Worth. There is a Pre-Event on Thursday, January 29, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The symposium is focused on increasing awareness of IDD and building relationships among persons with disabilities, their families and the faith community. Purpose

To provide all deaf or hard of hearing persons and their family members accessibility to the Catholic Church in order that they may worship, receive religious education, minister to others, and participate in all aspects of parish life.
