Christopher CarstensKeynote Presenter:

Christopher Carstens has worked as the Assistant Director of the Office of Sacred Worship in the Diocese of La Crosse since 1998 and as Director since August of 2002.  He has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the Oratory of St. Philip Neri in Toronto, Canada, and master’s degrees in philosophy and in liturgical studies from the University of Dallas and the University of St. Mary of the Lake, Mundelein, Illinois, respectively.  Christopher is also an adjunct faculty member at Mundelein Seminary and the Liturgical Institute at the University of St. Mary of the Lake. Along with Father Douglas Martis, Christopher is the co-author of Mystical Body, Mystical Voice:  Encountering Christ in the Words of the Mass (Liturgy Training Publications), and he is a frequent presenter on the new English translation of the Roman Missal. He lives in Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin, with his wife and five children.
