What is the Sharing in Ministry Bishop’s Annual Appeal?
Sharing in Ministry Bishop’s Annual Appeal provides essential, annual operating funds that will directly impact the lives of people throughout the Diocese of Fort Worth with programs, services and ministries that reach beyond the scope of any individual parish and are made possible by the collective giving of the faithful.
Since 1983, Catholics in the Diocese of Fort Worth have been invited to support diocesan ministries and programs through the annual appeal, Sharing in Ministry. During this time, nearly $50 million has been contributed to the appeal to help support the needs of our diocese, which has grown to more than 600,000 Catholics and 80,000 households in 90 parishes and missions throughout the 28 counties.
