All About Pledge Redemption
Our parish has moved into the Redemption Phase for the All Things Possible Campaign. Over the next four years, the Office of Stewardship and Development at the Diocese of Fort Worth will be managing this process. This includes the preparation and distribution of reminder statements, as well as electronic billing options.
Reminder Statements Explanation (English and Spanish)
Some common questions are being asked by campaign donors. Please take a look below for information concerning redemption. If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Stewardship and Development at (817) 560-3300, ext. 172 or 176.
Questions and Answers
Why am I not getting a coupon book and envelopes?
Monthly reminders, with return envelopes, are being used with this campaign; not coupon books.
Why am I not getting a reminder?
There are a few possible reasons a reminder may not print: if your account is paid ahead of schedule; if you are paying electronically; or if your pledge is paid in full. Call the Stewardship and Development Office to fully investigate the issue.
I signed up for direct debit but it has not been taken out of my bank account yet. Why?
If any information was recorded incorrectly, it may have ‘bounced back’. If this occurs, a member of the processing staff will contact you. If all information is correct and the direct debit is successfully transmitted, it could still take up to 5 business days until it shows on your bank account.
Why is my payment different than was stated on the gift plan schedule?
The payments on the gift plan schedule were based on a 10% down payment. If that down payment amount was not submitted with your original pledge form, the amount shown on your reminder statement will be different.
Why isn’t there a receipt on the reminder?
You will receive a tax statement for your total contribution at the end of the calendar year.
When can I expect to receive my monthly reminders?
You can expect to receive your reminder around the 18th-20th each month.
Why is my pledge frequency different from what I want?
If a frequency is not marked on a pledge card, the installment schedule is defaulted for monthly reminders over four years. If this is not the schedule you want or if you would like to change your schedule, please contact the Stewardship and Development Office.
I gave my payment to my parish. Why is it not showing on my reminder?
If a payment is given to your parish, it will be delayed in getting to the Diocese and therefore may not be reflected on your reminder statement. All payments should be mailed to PO Box 151709, Fort Worth, TX, 76108-1709.
How soon after making my pledge will I receive a reminder?
A reminder should arrive within 30-60 days after making your pledge, assuming a monthly installment payment.
Can I switch to credit card or direct debit payment options?
Yes, you can switch payment methods. Simply check the appropriate box on the reminder, complete the requested information and return in the envelope. Please note if this is a one-time switch or if you wish to make all future payments using credit card or debit.
Why do I have a charge on my credit card from Ticketmaster?
The diocese uses a third party automated transaction service through Ticketmaster Company. This may show up on your billing statement. If you are questioning a charge with this labeling, please call the Stewardship and Development Office to verify it is a pledge payment charge.
