The Diocese of Fort Worth will celebrate its 40th Anniversary on August 9, 2009. Bishop Kevin Vann has designated the anniversary year as one of spiritual renewal -- strengthening the bonds of Communio in our local Church. The year-long observance will begin with a special Eucharistic Liturgy at 3 pm on Sunday, August 9, 2009, at the Fort Worth Convention Center Arena. There are also plans for additional events and celebrations throughout the anniversary year.

La Diócesis de Fort Worth marcará su cuadragésimo aniversario el 9 de agosto del 2009. Monseñor Kevin Vann ha designado esta celebración como una oportunidad para renovarnos espiritualmente y para fortalecer los lazos de Communio en nuestra Iglesia. Celebraremos este acontecimiento con un año de eventos especiales. Comenzaremos con una solemne Liturgia Eucarística a las 3 de la tarde el domingo 9 de agosto en la Arena del Centro de Convenciones de Fort Worth.
