Director of Stewardship and Parish Relations

The Advancement Foundation of the Diocese of Fort Worth is seeking a full-time Director of Stewardship and Parish Relations to join our Advancement Foundation. Stewardship is a lifelong process integral to being a Disciple of Christ, and this position will work closely with the Parishes of the Diocese of Fort Worth to create and manage successful stewardship programs and campaigns. Receptionist (Bilingual)

The Diocese of Fort Worth is seeking a Full-Time Receptionist with Bilingual Spanish/English ability to join the team at the Catholic Center. This position will receive incoming telephone calls, direct them and relay messages appropriately; greet visitors in a warm and welcoming manner; maintain calendars; and perform general clerical duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will have bilingual speaking ability in both English and Spanish; high school diploma or equivalent, and previous clerical/customer service experience. Internal Auditor

Diocese of Fort Worth, Catholic Center

The Diocese of Fort Worth is currently seeking a full-time INTERNAL AUDITOR to join our finance team. This position will travel throughout the Diocese to audit the parishes, schools and other entities to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws, as well as internal accounting and administrative policies and procedures. The Auditor will prepare reports and present audit findings to the Pastor/Principal and to the Diocesan Audit Committee and Finance Council as appropriate.

The qualified candidate will be a practicing Catholic, in good standing and actively participating in a parish. CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) Certification is strongly preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English skills (written and spoken). Two to five years of previous experience in Accounting, Internal Audit or Compliance Audit. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or related field. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Quickbooks, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Director of Safe Environment

Diocese of Fort Worth, Catholic Center

The Diocese of Fort Worth is seeking a Director of Safe Environment to join the team at the Catholic Center. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources, and ensures that the Diocese complies with the requirements of the USCCB Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. The Director of Safe Environment will plan, implement and monitor the training and background checks of all clergy, employees, and volunteers who minister and work in the Diocese. The position works collaboratively with Human Resources, Youth Ministry, Children’s Catechesis and the Office of Catholic Schools.

The successful candidate will be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are required. A Bachelor’s degree in theology, education, child development or related field is required. Two years of previous experience as a Safe Environment trainer or coordinator at a parish is preferred. Three years of previous experience in compliance program administration is preferred. Dynamic communication and presentation skills are required. Computer literacy, including database management, Microsoft Office and internet research skills are required. This position requires travel to parishes and schools in the Diocese of Fort Worth, and some weekend and evening work is required. Assistant Editor and Content Specialist

The Diocese of Fort Worth is seeking an Assistant Editor and Content Specialist to join the team of the North Texas Catholic magazine. This position will work under the direction of the Editor to oversee and execute both print and digital media efforts. The Assistant Editor works collaboratively with Pastors, Parishes and other Catholic and community organizations to ensure accurate and timely reporting of news of interest to or affecting the Diocese.

The successful applicant must be a practicing Catholic in good standing who embraces the teaching of the Catholic Church. A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism or related field is required. A minimum of five years of experience working for a digital or print publication with editorial and layout responsibilities is required. Previous experience with Catholic media is preferred. Desired technical abilities include social media management (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.), MS Office, and In-Design layout software. Ability to write, edit and proofread in English is required. Administrative Assistant for the Office of Religious Education

The Deaf Ministry Program provides services to Catholic Deaf Parishioners and their family members throughout the Diocese. The program has eight different parishes in which we provide services. Currently, the Deaf Ministry Program is looking for qualified interpreters to help with both religious education classes and interpreted Masses at these parishes. If you have the gift of being able to communicate with deaf people in their own language, please consider working in the Catholic Deaf Community.
