CART Services

CART (Computer Assisted Real-Time Translation) Services will now provided at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at the 10:45 AM Sunday morning mass each week, excluding the first Sunday of each month. This service involves a remote court reporter listening to the mass and typing to a laptop what is being said. Deaf persons who do not sign and can not benefit from a sign interpreter, can then read what is being said. Thus these parishioners are included in the parish's weekly liturgy. The Deaf Ministry Program is excited to work with the parish administration and community in helping to make the Sunday liturgy accessible to deaf and hard of hearing persons in our diocese.
