Controller – Catholic Center

The Diocese of Fort Worth Texas seeks a full-time Controller. Main duties include supervising and managing personnel, serving as senior accountant and direct manager of accounting, payroll, financial analysis, and preparing financial reports for the Diocese of Fort Worth, the Advancement Foundation and other related entities.

Co-coordinator of Youth Ministry – St. Catherine of Siena Church, Carrollton

St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Carrollton, Texas, is looking for a dynamic, energetic, organized and creative individual to be co-coordinator of Youth Ministry in a well-established, active program for 6th-12th grade. We are looking for someone who is a team player, is educated and knowledgeable in the Catholic Faith, who also practices it, and is able to creatively share that knowledge and experience in a way that engages our youth and the adults who assist in our Faith Formation program. This is a full-time position with benefits.

The ideal candidate will have higher education studies in Theology, will be well organized, and have experience in dealing with Youth and youth ministry. Responsibilities will be shared in our normal RE program, which includes Sunday nights after the 5pm Mass from September through May, Confirmation Preparation, and various parish retreats and diocesan functions throughout the year.

Director of Youth Ministry – Catholic Center

The Diocese of Fort Worth Texas seeks a full-time Director of Youth Ministry at the Catholic Center to provide a Christocentric and Comprehensive Catechetical Process for the formation of our youth in the Catholic faith. Main duties will include: directing and administering various youth events, programs and conferences including the annual Diocesan Catholic Youth Conference, Middle School Rally, Youth Leadership Camp, Youth 2000 retreat, etc. Oversee Safe Environment Training for all teen leaders. Foster relationships with parishes, schools, and youth organizations.

The qualified applicant must: be a practicing Catholic; Bachelor’s degree in Theology or Catechetics (Master’s degree preferred); minimum of 5 years of catechetical experience in Youth Ministry; availability to travel and work evenings and weekends as required.

Director of Religious Education – St. Mary Church, Gainesville

St. Mary Parish is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Parish Director of Religious Education (DRE).

Candidate qualifications: The successful candidate: must be an active Catholic in good standing; have a graduate degree in Theology or related studies, or an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience; have a strong desire to assist the Pastor in the formation mission of St. Mary Parish; have the ability to create, articulate and implement a parish wide vision of religious formation under the guidelines of the Diocesan Office of Religious Education; should have strong organizational and communication skills.

Job responsibilities: The DRE will be responsible for collaboratively developing, implementing, and evaluating parish wide religious formation according to Diocesan Guidelines. This would include: the recruitment, support, evaluation and formation of catechists; setting curriculum and selecting texts and resources for Religious Education classes and programs for all ages and vocations; directing and guiding sacramental preparation programs including RCIA; coordinate and support with the St. Mary Catholic School (K-8) to insure continuity between the parish and school religious education programs.

Director of Catechist Formation and Children’s Catechesis – Catholic Center

The Diocese of Fort Worth Texas seeks a full-time Director of Catechist Formation and Children’s Catechesis at the Catholic Center. Main duties will include: oversees, implements, and facilitates Bi-lingual Catechetical programs; administration of all Sacramental Preparation Guidelines, Elementary Religious Education Guidelines, RCIA for Children and Parish Directors of Religious Education formation and assessment; provide Bi-lingual Catechetical training and up-to-date resources and formation for all catechists; and, exercise the ability to foster the New Evangelization with the intent of forming intentional disciples through the use of systematic approach to the faith for the Diocese of Fort Worth.

Senior Director of Development and Alumni Relations - The University of Dallas

Together with the Executive Vice President (EVP), the Senior Director of Development and Alumni Relations is responsible for the creation of plans, implementation of strategies, and supervision of fundraising and alumni relations programs of the University. The Senior Director leads a staff of nine in annual giving programs, major and planned gifts, corporate/foundation giving, alumni relations. The Senior Director manages numerous programming budgets; consults with both current and prospective donors regarding applicable technical and gift planning matters; directs campaign activities of the University; supervises the publication and distribution of various development and alumni relations publications. The Senior Director and EVP collaborate with the President in conducting other development and alumni relations related business, as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the EVP, the Senior Director collaborates to evaluate and implement strategies for long-term fundraising effectiveness and campaign success.
  • Hires, coaches, and evaluates development (annual giving, major gifts, corporate/foundation giving and advancement services) and alumni relations staff and sets measurable goals that facilitates individual accountability while achieving organizational goals.
  • Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects, developing and implementing cultivation and solicitation strategies for each prospective donor. S/he prepares written proposals, informational material, endowment agreements and other documents needed to secure major gifts in a team-oriented environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with various University colleges and other University departments to develop and provide key messages and communications for alumni, parents, friends or donors.
  • Utilizes fund-raising and engagement data to prepare statistical analyses and attainment reports related to fundraising and alumni engagement efforts.

Middle School Youth Minister and Worship Leader - St. Francis of Assisi, Grapevine

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Grapevine, Texas is searching for a full-time Middle School Youth Minister and Worship Leader to serve 400 students between 5-8th grade. Our ministry program focuses on events/retreats, evangelistic catechesis, and discipleship through relational ministry. As a parish striving to live out the new evangelization, our mission is to create life-long disciples by connecting students to authentic worship, life-giving community, and discipleship mentors within the parish. The Position:

This position will work in collaboration with the Director of Youth Ministry to produce a comprehensive youth ministry program for 5th-8th graders. This position will be responsible for weekly programming. The position also facilitates retreats and one summer trip, as well as participation in other grade appropriate diocesan events. The middle school youth minister would be expected to participate in outreach opportunities such as school visits and events within the community as well as occasionally help with our high school youth ministry program when needed. The position would also be responsible for recruiting/training/leading a team of adult volunteer ministers to lead small discipleship groups.

The position would also be responsible for leading a Worship Team for a weekly Sunday Evening Mass. The position would recruit, lead, and train a worship team of volunteers, as well as prepare the Liturgical Music for this Sunday Evening Mass and help lead praise and worship for some retreats/events when needed.

The Deaf Ministry Program provides services to Catholic Deaf Parishioners and their family members throughout the Diocese. The program has eight different parishes in which we provide services. Currently, the Deaf Ministry Program is looking for qualified interpreters to help with both religious education classes and interpreted Masses at these parishes. If you have the gift of being able to communicate with deaf people in their own language, please consider working in the Catholic Deaf Community. The needs of the Deaf Community are very special and people with the skill of interpreting can make a huge difference! There is a stipend paid to the interpreter.
